Memphis Eviction Settlement Fund

The City of Memphis and Shelby County have partnered to fund an eviction settlement program for residents of Shelby County who are facing eviction and have nowhere to go if evicted. Eligible applicants will be assigned a lawyer or supervised law student who will work with them to make an offer on their behalf to settle up with their landlord, drop the eviction, and stay in their apartment or house.

The intake portal is online at home901.org/covid-resources. Anyone with computer or smartphone access can complete the form in several minutes. We are encouraging people to go to the link and enter the information themselves, but if they need help entering the information, anyone could do it for them.
