In order to maintain social distancing as recommended by the CDC, the HCVP may have limited appointment times available to meet with clients.

* Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the HCPV office is closed to the public.  A drop box has been made available at the front door of 700 Adams Ave. to drop off paperwork everyday during the above listed business hours.  Please do not include original copies of Personal Identifiable Information(PII).

HCVP Customer Service Center

Call the HCVP Customer Service Center at (901) 544-1347 anytime during regular business hours.  Dedicated HCVP Customer Service Center representatives are ready to assist with HCVP inquiries.  The HCVP team is also available via email and fax to assist you.   Due to the high volume of inquiries received daily in the HCVP office, all voicemail and emails will be responded to within two business days.

Submitting Information
You may submit recertification packets, verification documents, RFTAs and any other information in the Dropbox at MHA’s Central Office or via US mail, fax, email with scanned attachments or photos of the documents.  

If you have changes in your household circumstances (income, expenses and composition) and would like to request an Interim Recertification, you may submit the request along with supporting documentation to the HCVP team via US mail, fax, or email to hcv.recert@memphisha.org

Generally within 30 days, the HCVP team will review and verify all documentation submitted and notify the participant and the landlord of the family’s portion of the rent and how much MHA will pay in housing assistance, if applicable

Scam Alert – Avoid Scams and Fraud!
If you are looking for housing assistance, please be advised there is never a fee to apply for a HUD funded public waiting list.  Scammers have made websites that look like registration sites for waiting lists to steal your personal information or try to charge you fake fees.  If you pay a fee or give your personal information, the scammers will take it and you still will not be on a waiting list.
