The Community Engagement Department of the Memphis Housing Authority (MHA) works collaboratively and strategically with and through people and groups to identify needs most important to our residents and our surrounding community. It is the fundamental link between the mission of the MHA and the community we serve and fosters the MHA’s identity and services through media, marketing and public relations activities. It has the primary responsibility of to conduct and participate in outreach activities, such as, community outreach events, serving on community advisory boards, participating in network councils, attending community meetings, and conducting training and informational sessions. Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS)
