The Office of Internal Affairs completes confidential and sensitive operations and/or administrative internal/external investigations to protect and preserve the integrity of the Memphis Housing Authority hierarchy, major programs and its employees.

The Office of Internal Affairs routinely receives and expedites investigations of all complaints and allegations of program and employee misconduct. These complaints and allegations are investigated fairly and impartially to ensure an unbiased review and sound corrective recommendations.

Scheduled Hours of Operation

The Office of Internal Affairs conducts sound administrative and operational investigations on behalf of departmental employees and the citizens participating in major programs. The office is located at Memphis Housing Authority, 700 Adams Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, 38103. The normal office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Complaints or allegations (often referred to as "Hot Line Calls") can be forwarded during normal office hours to the Internal Affairs Office. Additionally, complaints can be forwarded via email to:

Any concerns can be received anonymously, if requested or forwarded requesting a status "call back" from the Officer of Internal Affairs.
